Australia's small enterprises are owned by migrants at a rate of 33 percent, according to a study done in 2017.
A 2017 study by EY Sweeney, on behalf of insurance company CGU, revealed that the Australian economy and labor force, particularly small businesses, benefited greatly from immigration. As a result, we can come to the following conclusions:
• 45% of all private sector jobs in Australia are held by small company owners.
• Migrants own 33% of all Australian small enterprises.
• A large percentage of migrant-owned enterprises (37 percent) provide distinctive products and services or give training to young people (25 percent ).
