A note on government charges

The fees above are our professional fees only. Separately, the Department of Home Affairs charges a Visa Application Charge (VAC) for most visas, indexed every 1 July.

Government charges are not included in our fees and vary by visa and family size. Other third-party costs — skills assessment authority fees, English tests, health examinations, police clearances and, for employer sponsored visas, the SAF levy — may also apply. We set out every expected cost in writing before you engage us, so there are no surprises.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a migration agent cost in Australia?

At Millennium Migration our professional fees are fixed and depend on the visa. For example, a Subclass 189 or 190 skilled visa application is $3,900, a Subclass 500 student visa is $2,500, citizenship is $500 to $900, and a humanitarian application is $4,200. Consultations are $190 online or $290 in person, credited towards your fee if you engage us.

Are government charges included in your fees?

No. Our fees are professional fees only. The Department of Home Affairs charges a separate Visa Application Charge for most visas — for instance $6,140 for a Subclass 190 primary applicant in 2026 — plus any skills assessment, English test, health check and police clearance costs. We set out every expected government cost in writing before you engage us.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Our professional fees are payable in two instalments. The first is due when you engage us and the second at a defined milestone in your matter, which we confirm in your written service agreement before any work begins.

Is the consultation fee refundable?

The consultation fee is not refunded, but it is credited towards your professional fee if you decide to engage us for your matter. This means the cost of your initial consultation effectively comes off your total fee, so you are not paying twice.

Do you handle partner visa fees?

Partner visas are handled by our dedicated partner-visa service at mmpartnervisa.com.au, which has its own fee schedule. If your matter involves a partner visa, visit that site or contact us and we will direct you to the right team.

Want a fixed quote for your situation?

Every case is a little different. Start with a free assessment and we will give you a clear, written quote covering our fee and the government charges you should expect.
